Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TalentSync website, resume matcher, recruiter ranking tool, and all related content and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing TalentSync, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be legally bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

TalentSync provides a free, browser-based tool that allows:

• Job seekers to compare their resume text against a job description and receive a keyword match score.
• Recruiters and bench sales professionals to rank multiple candidate profiles against a target job description.
• All users to access career intelligence articles published on the TalentSync blog.

All resume and job description analysis occurs locally in your browser. TalentSync does not transmit, store, or process your resume content on any server.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful, personal, or professional career and recruiting purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to upload or process content that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service through automated means
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation while using the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure

4. Intellectual Property

The TalentSync name, logo, website design, source code, blog content, and all other content created by TalentSync are owned by TalentSync and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

You retain full ownership of any resume text or job description content you input into the Service. By using the Service, you do not grant TalentSync any rights to that content, as it is processed entirely on your local device and never transmitted to us.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TALENTSYNC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
• The match scores or rankings produced by the tool are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular hiring or application decision
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Any defects will be corrected

Match scores generated by TalentSync are algorithmic estimates based on keyword comparison. They do not reflect the judgment of any human recruiter, employer, or ATS system, and should not be relied upon as a guarantee of application success.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TALENTSYNC AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

In no event shall TalentSync's total liability to you for all claims arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service exceed $0 (as the Service is provided free of charge).

7. Third-Party Links and Advertising

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and may display third-party advertisements through Google AdSense or similar ad networks. TalentSync does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for any third-party content, products, or services accessed through these links or advertisements. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed by those sites' own terms and privacy policies.

8. Modifications to the Service

TalentSync reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. TalentSync shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
